We are located one mile south of the village of Hopkins, a pleasant 10 minute beach walk or, if you prefer, you can take the road. Hopkins, a native Garifuna village, is located just 40 minutes south of Dangriga Airport. The village is accessible by road or boat.

Nestled within the jungle you will hear soothing sounds of the sea while enjoying the privacy of the beautiful green canopy of the jungle. Here, near the small village of Hopkins, you'll be surrounded by miles of rainforest with unlimited opportunities for biking, hiking and exploring. Superb diving, snorkeling, kayaking and fishing are at our doorstep. Did you know that Belize boasts the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere just offshore in the crystal Caribbean waters? The reef teems with spectacular corals, colorful fish and sea life galore. You might say diving and snorkeling here in Belize is extraordinary! And the fishing's out of this world!
In Hopkins Village, the charming Garifuna culture is still very much in evidence. Here, you can walk for miles along the beach or along the road and observe the native cultures. Feast on delicious local fare such as coconut rice and beans, conch soup, fish soup or lobster. Listen to the Native Garifuna Drums at the Drumming Center and have the village children show you how to swing your hips to the Punta dance. You can also observe the healing plants of Hopkins and visit the local herbalists, whose knowledge has been passed down through the generations.
